BRUSH VALLEY TOWNSHIP — A Pittsburgh woman drowned while fishing, Indiana County Coroner Michael Baker has confirmed.
Baker said 68-year-old Keiko McDonald of Pittsburgh had been fishing from a concrete walkway at the Renosky Trout Club on Saturday when she apparently fell, struck her head and slipped into the water.
McDonald’s husband, Charles, found his wife facedown in the water and pulled her to land, Baker said.
Baker said there is no indication of foul play. The death has been ruled accidental.
