BELLWOOD – An Altoona man was arrested Saturday on charges of rape and indecent assault at an unspecified location in Antis Township.
State police said Troy Le Lardieri, 35, was arrested at his residence about 8:30 a.m. and lodged in the Blair County Prison in lieu of $25,000
bail.
Police said an assault on a 28-year-old Altoona woman took place between 2:30 a.m. and 5:10 a.m.
Splash party to benefit Patton Pool
In a continuing effort to raise funds to repair the Patton Pool, a Splash Party will be held at Cambria Heights High School Pool from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday.
The event will include a DJ and games with prizes for the kids. Admission is $4. Refreshments will be sold during the event.
Fingerprinting, DNA collection offered
West End Ambulance Service and H&R; Block will conduct a children’s fingerprinting and DNA collection from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday.
The event is free and will be held at the ambulance building at 175 Garfield St.

GED Test set for Saturday
The General Educational Development Test (GED) will be administered at 7:30 a.m. Saturday at East Side Elementary School.
The cost of the test is $50
for all sections or $10 per section.
Preregistration is required.
