The outage lasted about

5 minutes for an estimated 3,700 customers. The rest

were without power for about 35 minutes, Platt said.

EBENSBURG – The Cambria County commissioners on Friday retained a Johnstown accounting firm to review billing procedures by Internet service providers for the county’s high-speed, wireless data communications services operated by Cambria Connected.

Catanese Group will be paid at the rate of $125 an hour up to a maximum of $4,000.

“We want to be sure we’re getting all the revenues to which we are entitled,” said Kris Segear, the county’s second deputy controller.

About 200 customers are signed up for the service through ISPs, the county has reported.

The county will be focusing on increasing the commercial customers, President Commissioner P. J. Stevens said.
