EBENSBURG — A veteran Cambria County woman prosecutor was selected today by District Attorney Patrick Kiniry to be his first assistant, putting her in line to become the county’s first female district attorney in January,
The new first assistant is Kelly Callihan of Westmont, who’s been a full-time assistant district attorney here for 14 years.
Callihan automatically will become district attorney Jan. 4 when Kiniry is sworn into office as a county judge.
