NEW – Foul play not suspected in Bedford hunter's death

BEDFORD — No foul play is suspected in the death of a deer hunter found in southern Bedford County, state police at Bedford said Tuesday.

The body of the man, not yet identified by authorities, was found shortly after 4 p.m. Monday in a wooded area off Harrison Road in Harrison Township.

The incident remains under investigation, but state police said the individual did not die as a result of a gunshot wound as had been previously thought.

Another Bedford County hunter suffered a heart attack Monday morning along Black Valley Road, outside Everett.

No additional information was available on either incident.
