CONNELLSVILLE — The former executive director of a western Pennsylvania sewer authority must spend one to two years in prison and repay $141,000 he stole $141,000 from the agency.
Fifty-four-year-old Carl Paul Lewis, of Ellwood City, pleaded guilty in October and was sentenced Thursday.
Fayette County prosecutors say he made unauthorized payroll disbursements and took cash from customers paying bills to the Bullskin Township/Connellsville Township Joint Sewerage Authority between 2005 and 2007.
