JOHNSTOWN —
The Johnstown man who in December allegedly robbed a First National Bank branch in the West End was taken into custody late Tuesday, authorities said.
Aubrey K. Brown, 55, of Cooper Avenue, was picked up at Memorial Medical Center on Franklin Street.
“He was there visiting someone,” city police Detective Lawrence Wagner said.
Brown was arraigned by on-call District Judge Leonard Grecek of Roxbury on charges of robbery, theft by unlawful taking or disposition and receiving stolen property. He was jailed in lieu of $100,000 bond.
