PLOUSE – Alberta “Patty,” 79, Vinco, passed away July 18, 2009, at Golden Living Center, Cambridge Springs. Born Nov. 8, 1929, in Saltsburg, daughter of the late Elliot and Margaret (Morgan) Patty. Preceded in death by husband, Wade P. Plouse; brothers, Warren, James and Richard Patty; and sister, Eleanor Mihalak. Survived by sister, Agnes Duffner , and Alberta’s six children, Samuel (Karen) Pelchar, Wade “Rusty” (Tiffany) Plouse, Edward Plouse, Cecil “Scott” Plouse, Barry (Tanis) Plouse and Margaret “Bunny” (Dave) Bracken. Also survived by six grandchildren, Taylor Pelchar, Shawna Bracken, Amber Bracken, Whitney Plouse, Morgan Plouse and Ramey Plouse, and numerous nieces and nephews. Alberta enjoyed fishing, playing bingo and loved being with her family and spoiling her grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Ebensburg, where funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday, the Rev. Dr. Rick Clark officiating. Interment, Lloyd Cemetery, Ebensburg. In lieu of flowers, donations in Alberta’s memory may be made to your local Shriner’s Hospital.
