INDIANA —
A coroner has identified a man found dead in a mobile home fire in Indiana County, but says the cause of the fire and the man’s death remain under investigation.
Indiana County Coroner Michael Baker says the dead man is 36-year-old Steven Brewer.
Brewer and his dog were found dead in the fire reported shortly after 10 p.m. Sunday in White Township.
An autopsy was scheduled Monday and a state police fire marshal has been investigating the cause of the fire.
The coroner says Brewer’s 16-year-old son was found to be safe with friends when the fire broke out.
Brewer was found dead in the burned ruins about an hour after firefighters arrived at the fast-moving blaze.
