The Stuttering Foundation has produced a DVD, “Stuttering: Straight Talk for Teachers,” that is now available at the Cresson Public Library, 231 Laurel Ave., and Lilly Washington
Public Library, 520 Church St., Lilly.
The 20-minute film helps parents and teachers understand how stuttering can affect children of all ages in the classroom.
A part of the DVD highlights children who discuss their experiences in the classroom and share what has been helpful for them.
The film features speech-language pathologists who offer strategies teachers can use to help children feel more comfortable in the classroom.
