New - New Orleans reaches championship game

JOHNSTOWN — Jordan Rittiner wasn't perfect, but he was certainly good enough to lead New Orleans to the championship game of the AAABA Tournament.

Rittiner and two relievers held hot-hitting New Brunswick to one hit in a 14-0, mercy-rule shortened victory this afternoon.

New Orleans scored in each of the first six innings, chasing New Brunswick starter Willie Beard - who beat New Orleans in the tournament opener - after three innings.

The Boosters will play in the championship game on Sunday while New Brunswick will face either Brooklyn or Johnstown's Delweld team for the right to play New Orleans for the title.
