MIKE MASTOVICH | CT's Shroyer following in brother's footsteps

JOHNSTOWN — Conemaugh Township senior running back Jordan Shroyer is closing in on 1,000 rushing yards. He’s fourth in the area with 960 yards on 117 carries.

Should Shroyer reach the milestone Saturday at Ferndale, he would join his older brother Alex in the 1,000-yard club.

The Indians’ Alex Shroyer ranked sixth in the area with 1,059 rushing yards on 164 carries during the 2002 season.
