JOHNSTOWN — GALL– John F., 92, Johnstown, died Nov. 8, 2012, at Select Specialty Hospital. Born Feb. 1, 1920, in Johnstown, son of the late Joseph L. and Agnes (Pierman) Gall. Preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Grace (Johnston) Gall, and 12 brothers and sisters. Survived by children, Martha Ann Toki, and husband, Paul, Windber; Gerald P. Gall, and wife, Theresa (Renella-Mazur), Johnstown; Gregory A. Gall, Johnstown; and Frank J. Gall, and wife, Rachael (McCue), Wilmerding; grandchildren, Beverly Fine; Karen Teklinsky; Paula Byrne; Lisa Ann Tramuta, and husband Todd; Andrew S. Gall, and wife, Karen (Miller); Nolan Gall; and Isaiah Gall; as well as numerous great-grandchildren. He was a member of Charles Menoher Post 155, VFW. He retired from the State of Pennsylvania. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran, having served in the Pacific on Saipan and Iwo Jima. Friends received from 10 a.m. until the hour of service at noon Wednesday at Henderson Funeral Home East Hills, 2503 Bedford St., the Rev. Dr. David A. Hill officiating. Entombment, Richland Cemetery. Military rites will be conducted at the cemetery by members of Charles Menoher Post 155 Ritual Team.
