LAS VEGAS, NEV. — IIZUKA – Carol A. (Reed), 69, Las Vegas, Nev., formerly of East Taylor Township, died July 7, 2012, in Las Vegas. Born Nov. 2, 1942, in Johns- town, daughter of Albert and Mary (Cowles) Reed. Preceded in death by parents and bro- ther-in-law, Ronald Warner. Survived by husband, Dr. Reiichi Iizuka, Las Vegas; daughter, Jennifer Iizuka, Santa Monica, Calif.; and son, Patrick Iizuka, Portland, Ore. Also survived by sister, Eileen (Jim) McMonagle, Johnstown; brother, Robert (Judy) Reed, St. Mary’s, Pa.; Margaret “Peggy” Warner, Las Vegas; and Teri Reed, East Taylor Township. Carol graduated from Mercy School of Nursing as a practical nurse and worked in the operating room at Mercy Hospital. Carol was a world traveler who loved to laugh. She had a big heart and very giving spirit.
