BALTIMORE, MD. — PHIZACKLEA – Dale Spencer, 74, formerly of Richland Township, died Oct. 3, 2012, at Summit Park Nursing Home, Baltimore, Md. Born May 25, 1938, son of Harrison J, and Ruth (Jones) Phizacklea. Preceded in death by parents; wife, Carole Jean (Witzer); brother, Harrison Jay; sister, LaDene Ruth; nephew, Dirk; and niece, Naomi (Harrison) Jewell. Survived by sister, Gloria (Harrison), Burlington, Ontario, Canada; and brother, Tom (Jeanne), Baltimore, Md. Also survived by nephews, Chuck, George, Harrison Jay IV, Brian, Matthew and Joshua; and nieces, Cindy, Jan, Wendy, Jennifer and Meredith; in addition to many great- and great-great-nieces and nephews. A graduate of Richland High School, he served in the U.S. Army for several years. Dale was a top salesman for the Nestle Corp. for more than 25 years. He was proud to serve his community through the years as past president of Johnstown Exchange Club, on the board of Highland Sewer & Water Authority, and a member of Cambria Lodge of F&AM. Dale and Carole were members of Oakland United Methodist Church, and were avid travelers visiting more than 30 countries. He also was a dog lover, and considered his miniature schnauzers, Fritz and Spencer, to be two of his closest companions. Dale will be remembered by his family and friends as generous, friendly and fun-loving. Friends will be received from 3 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Henderson Funeral Home, East Hills, 2503 Bedford St. Funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at Oakland United Methodist Church, the Rev.
