WOODVALE — DOROFEY – Emma J., 76, Woodvale, died Oct. 13, 2012, at Memorial Medical Center. Born June 11, 1936, in Johnstown, daughter of Pius and Dorothy (Duman) Knisel. Preceded in death by parents; sister, Betty Stapleton; and brother, Raymond. Survived by husband of 25 years, Dorsey T. Dorofey; children, Jean A., married to Richard E. Rose, Greensburg; Diane L. Strushensky and Dot J. Strushensky, both of Johnstown; and M. Carol Pavlick, and her fiance, Dave Mesaros, Johnstown; grandchildren, Tussie Smith, Christie Czepial, Amanda Rose, Jeffrey Pavlick and Cavina J. “Crusher” Strushensky; and sisters, Evelyn, married to Tom Tarbay, Illinois, and Janice Morrison, Florida. Member of Grove Avenue United Methodist Church. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave., where funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, the Rev. Edward Schoeneck. Interment, Headrick Union Cemetery.
