FORT MYERS, FLA. —
HOUGH – Norma Mae, 86, Fort Myers, Fla., went to be with the Lord and her husband, James (Bob) on May 1, 2012. She was born Jan. 25, 1926, in Portage, daughter of Clyde and Esther (Stombaugh) Ritchey. She was the mother of Robert (Cindy), Anchorage, Alaska, and Richard (Cheryl), Fort Myers, Fla. Preceded in death by her sisters, Marlene Bolton, Marian Merrill and Lillian Lauffer, and brother, Irvin Ritchey. Her surviving siblings are the Rev. Clyde Ritchey, Violet Knotts, Elda Billings and Mona Grimes. Norma was the proud grandmother of Christina (Bryan) Atwood, Seattle, Wash.; Amanda (Anthony) Diehl, Vancouver, Canada; Farrah (Jason) Dickens, Fort Worth, Texas; and Jordyn Hough, Fort Myers, Fla. Her great-grandchildren are Bennett Atwood, Asher and Lincoln Diehl and Taylor and Kendall Dickens. She married the love of her life, James (Bob) in 1948. She devoted herself to being a wife, mother and homemaker. She was a member of First Baptist Church, Cape Coral, Fla. It was here that she had different ministries. She always had a strong abiding faith in God and his word. She also has a sincere heart for missions all over the world. She will be greatly missed by her immediate family but also a large extended family everywhere and so many friends who loved her dearly.
