DARLAK – Josephine Katherine, 83, Johnstown, died Oct. 24, 2012. Born March 9, 1929, daughter of Ivan and Mary (Bomba) Tomljanovic. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Mitchell Darlak, in 1996; her infant son, Irving Miller; sisters, Mary Esposito; Margaret, and husband, Raymond Pentrack; Anna Mae, and husband, Bob Campbell; Barbara, and husband, Joseph “Pippy” DiFalco; and Betty Schuber; brothers, Paul, and wife, Rachel (Bonser) Tomljanovic; Charles “Kutch” Tomljanovic; William, and wife, Stella (Walukas) Tomljanovic; and Emil, and wife, Antoinette (Yurkovich) Tomljanovic. Survived by brothers, John, and wife, Florence (Wilson), and Thomas, and wife, Bonnie (Belinsky); brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Albert Esposito, Albert Jr. and Rose Marie Schubert; good friend, Marge Avery; and any nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, family and friends. “Josie” lived in the Dearborn, Mich., area most of her adult life and moved back to Johnstown after her husband passed away to be near her family and church. She was a lifelong member of St. Rochus Catholic Church and the CFU Croatian Hall Lodge 5 and a member of Resurrection Catholic Church. Family and friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Moskal Funeral Home, West End, where the Rev. Alan E. Thomas will hold vigil for the deceased Friday evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at Resurrection Catholic Church. Committal, Forest Lawn Cemetery.
