JOHNSTOWN — SUKENIK – Joanne, 82, Johnstown, died Oct. 24, 2012, at Memorial Medical Center. She was born June 12, 1930, daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Winslow. She also was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert Sukenik, in 2006, and brothers, Donald and James Lynn Winslow. She also missed her “friend” Rudy. She was a loving and generous mother to Robert, married to Denise Walker, Mount Joy; Brian, Johnstown; and Andrea Minor, Johnstown, and she dearly loved her grandchildren, Kayla and Jeremy Minor. Also survived by twin sister, Mary Ann Koval, Johnstown. Joanne retired as an operator for GTE and was a faithful member of Oakland United Methodist Church, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, the Rev. Randy Bain officiating. Friends will be received from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Picking-Treece-Bennett Mortuary Inc., 921 Menoher Blvd. Interment, Richland Cemetery. Condolences to ptbmortuary.com.
