JOHNSTOWN — HOVANEC – Jason Michael, 30, Johnstown, passed away Oct. 26, 2012, at home. Born May 19, 1982, in Johnstown, son of John and Pamela (Gorzelsky) Hovanec. Preceded in death by uncles, Samuel Gorzelsky and Andrew Hovanec. Survived by maternal and paternal grandparents; loving mother, Pamela Gorzelsky, Johnstown; loving father, John Hovanec, and wife, Kimberly, Hagerstown, Md.; loving sister, Shanna, married to John Zahorchak, Johnstown; nieces and nephews, Justin, Sierra and Kadence Zahorchak; and stepbrother, Chandler Hovanec. Member of Foundation of Life Church. At Jason’s request, there will be no viewing or visitation. A memorial service will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, 2012, at Foundation of Life Church, 225 Second St., East Conemaugh, the Rev. John Mains, officiating.
