GEISTOWN — BOZICH – N. Marie, 79, Geistown, died June 23, 2012, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Nov. 13, 1932, in Portage, daughter of the late Robert Clair and Eunola (Lysinger) Adams. She was preceded in death by husband, Theodore “Ted” Bozich, in 2010. Survived by daughter, Marilyn J., wife of Jeffrey C. Elliott, Greensburg; son, Harry T. Bozich, married to the former Rhonda L. Varnish; and granddaughters, Sarah Lea and Emma Marie, all of York. Sister of Nola Jean, wife of Richard Fletcher, and Gloria, wife of George Tewart, all of Portage; Clair Adams, Charles Adams and Herbert Adams, all of Portage; and John “Ben” Adams, and wife, Janet, Johnstown. Also numerous nieces and nephews. Marie was a 1951 graduate of Portage Joint High School. She retired as a cashier from Riverside/Bi-Lo Markets. Marie was kind, thoughtful and generous and her life revolved around taking care of her family, especially her beloved granddaughters. She enjoyed spending time with her brothers and sisters and playing the piano. The family is appreciative of the care provided to Marie by the staff of Arbutus Park Manor. Family and friends will be received from 4 to 9 p.m. Tuesday and from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland, the Rev. Alice Tondora, officiating. Interment, Richland Cemetery. The family suggests contributions be directed to Arbutus Park Manor, Benevolent Care Fund, 207 Ottawa St., Johnstown, Pa. 15904, in memory of Marie.
