JOHNSTOWN — HARMON – Evelyn Louise, 73, Johnstown, formerly of Berlin, died Dec. 21, 2012, at the Presbyterian Home of Greater Johnstown. Born April 7, 1939, in Berlin, daughter of Clarence and Kathryn (Platt) Landis. Preceded in death by parents; close friend, Donald “Sharky” Weigle; daughter, Linda Sue Harmon; and brother, William Landis. Survived by her daughters, Debbie, married to Jim Miller, Frostproof, Fla., and Diane, married to Gregory Weyant, Johnstown; grandchildren, Dustin Weyant, Kirk Miller and Debra Spence; great-grandchildren, Kirk Eli Miller and Sarah, Ryan and Jacob Spence; brothers, Henry, Clarence “Ed,” Charles “Skip,” Richard and Danny Landis; sisters, Kathryn Harmon, Mary Butler, Ruth Horner and Marian “Jeannie” Ogline; and numerous nieces and nephews. Member of Berlin Alliance Church. Family will receive friends from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Deaner Funeral Home, Berlin. Viewing from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Thursday at Berlin Alliance Church, the Rev. Sherman Berkey, officiating. Interment, Berlin IOOF Cemetery.
