Letty M. Morgan

HILLVIEW — MORGAN – Letty M., 82, Golden Living Center, Hillview, formerly of Northern Cambria, passed away Dec. 21, 2012, at Altoona Hospital. Born Aug. 28, 1930, in Colver, daughter of George and Jessie (Atkinson) Smith. Preceded in death by parents; loving husband, David R. Morgan Jr., who died Nov. 29, 2004; and brothers, George and Ben Smith. Survived by children, Karen, wife of Donald Focht, Altoona; Sandra, wife of William Toth, Northern Cambria; Deborah, wife of Randy Rummel, Northern Cambria; David R. Morgan III, married to Dorothy Detwiler, Hollidaysburg; 16 grandchildren; and 31 great-grandchildren with another expected in the spring. Sister of Betsy Kane, New Mexico; Ray Smith, North Carolina; David Smith, Mississippi; and Alice Smith, North Carolina. Letty worked many years at Quaker Market and the office of Shop-N-Save, Barnesboro. She enjoyed camping and planting flowers around her home, but her greatest joy came from time spent with her children and grandchildren. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and from 6 p.m. until time of service at 8 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, at Moriconi Funeral Home Inc., Northern Cambria.  Committal, North Barnesboro Cemetery.
