Betty L. Orris

WALNUT GROVE — ORRIS – Betty L., 92, Walnut Grove, went to be with the Lord Dec. 22, 2012, at Arbutus Manor. Born July 28, 1920, in Johnstown, daughter of Earl B. Sr. and Zella G. (Lehman) Callihan. Preceded in death by parents; husband, John E. Orris Sr.; and four grandchildren. Survived by loving children, Wanda Orris, Florida; Joanne Lester, Virginia; Nancy Baumgardner, Florida; and John Orris Jr., Johnstown; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter; brother, Alvin Callihan, Johnstown; and several nieces and nephews. Betty was a member of Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, Johnstown. She enjoyed knitting and crocheting. Betty loved spending time with her family. At Betty’s request, there will be no public viewing or service. Private inurnment will be at Forest Lawn Memorial Park. The family is being served by Harris Funeral Home, 500 Cherry Lane, Richland. The family suggests contributions be directed to Arbutus Park Manor, 207 Ottawa St., Johnstown, Pa. 15904, in memory of Betty. Online condolences may be posted to www.wharrisfuneralhome.com.
