Ronald S. Krumenacker

PORTAGE — KRUMENACKER – Ronald S., “Preacher,” 88, Portage, went to be with his Lord Dec. 26, 2012, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Feb. 25, 1924, in Portage, son of Joseph and Elsie (Richards) Krumenacker. Preceded in death by parents; brother, Charles; and granddaughter, Shari Jackson. Survived by loving wife of 62 years, Mary Catherine (Croyle) Krumenacker; children, Sharon Kipe, Winter Haven, Fla.; Debra, wife of Donald Herman, Blue Knob; Joseph Krumenacker, and wife, Lori, Houtzdale; Keith Krumenacker, and wife, Darlene, Portage; Robin, wife of Joel Jackson, Hollidaysburg; and Bryan Krumenacker, and wife, Monica, Benica, Calif.; 21 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. Brother of Delores Roberts, Portage. A U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and retired from U.S. Steel, Johnstown. He enjoyed playing harmonica and dulcimer, his family and attending church. Friends received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage. Friends also received from 10 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Martindale Alliance Church, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m., Pastor Tim Dietrich, officiating. Committal, Mount Moriah Cemetery, Blue Knob. Military rites by Portage Veterans Ritual Team. In lieu of flowers, family suggests contributions be made to Jewish Ministry, c/o Martindale Alliance Church.
