ELIZABETH TOWNSHIP, PA. — DVORSKY– Dorothy J. (Kleist) Chatlos, 83, Elizabeth Township, died Saturday, Jan. 5, 2013. She was born Aug. 11, 1929, in Duquesne, daughter of the late Arthur and Jean (Wright) Kleist. Also preceded in death by her first husband, Richard Chatlos, and siblings, Doris Messinger, Gladys Richards, Grace Brooks and Arthur and Edmund Kleist. She was a member of Moxham Christian Church, Johnstown. Surviving are her husband, J. Donald Dvorsky; children, Donna Alexander, Seltzer, Pa., and Deborah (Robert) Meyers, Johnstown; stepchildren, Donna J. (William) Caruthers, North Huntingdon, and Kathleen S. Dvorsky, McDonald, Pa.; grandchildren, Brandy (Ed) Seifert, Josh (Annie) Meyers, Joel (Anna) Meyers, Chad (Autumn) Alexander, Kathleen Caruthers (Joe Fisher) and William J. Caruthers; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, James Kleist; and nieces and nephews, including a special niece, Jackie (Jeff) Willis. There will be no viewing. William Snyder Funeral Home, Irwin, is in charge of arrangements. In lieu of flowers, a contribution may be made to Norwin Public Library, 100 Caruthers Lane, Irwin, Pa. 15642.
