PORTAGE — TRIMBATH – Peggyann, 74, Portage, passed away peacefully Jan. 10, 2013, at home with her husband, sons and sister by her side. Born April 20, 1938, in Portage, daughter of the late George J. and Margaret (Vidinsky) Wasko. Survived by loving husband of 53 years, Kenneth Trimbath; children, Kenneth “Tiger” Trimbath, married to the former Christine “Tina” Petryshak. Portage; Brett Trimbath, and fiancee, Tammy Meadows, Williamsburg, Va.; and Jeffrey Trimbath, Duncansville; and good family friend, Anthony Tobul. Also survived by grandchildren, Tyler, and wife, Chelsea; Taylor; McKenna; and Brettin; sister, Barbara, wife of David Prostejovsky; and godchildren, Paul Ahn, and wife, Iris; and Jennifer Chi, and special friend, Jemma Ahn. After graduating from high school, she was employed by her father in family businesses, until his retirement. She was the organist at St. John the Baptist church for many years, CCD instructor at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church and instrumental in founding The Holy Face prayer group in Portage. She was an active prayer group leader who organized pilgrimages to Medjugorje, Guadeloupe in Mexico, Lourdes in France, Fatima in Spain, Our Lady of Betania in Venezuela, The Holy Land and Rome, where her group was granted a special Mass with the Pope. Friends received from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Serenko-Claar Funeral Home, PC, Portage. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Monday at Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church, Hammers Street, Father Andrew Draper, TOR, celebrant. Committal, St. Johns Cemetery, Portage.
