WILMORE — CHERNICKY – Constance “Connie,” 71, Wilmore, died Jan. 10, 2013, at Memorial Medical Center. Born Aug. 16, 1941, in Windber, daughter of Michael Gallo and Sarah E. (Roddy) Gallo-Brewer. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Samuel Chernicky, who died Jan. 30, 2010; daughter, Sonja Chernicky; and sister, Sylvia Thompson. Survived by sons, Samuel, Wilmore; Robert, married to Nancy Riley, Sidman; and Barry, married to Kimberly Popchak, Portage; grandchildren, Curtis, Bradley, Saundra and Haylee; and brother, Michael Gallo, married to Penny, Mineral Point. Connie was an amazing mother and caring grandmother who cherished her family. She enjoyed cooking, crafts and had a great love for animals, especially her dog, Leo. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home Inc., South Fork, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday by the Rev. Terry Trudgen.
