STOYSTOWN — MEYERS – Helene, 86, Stoystown, died Jan. 23, 2013, at The Patriot. Born Sept. 14, 1926, in Austintown, Ohio, daughter of Prokop and Eva (Pyndus) Mahunik. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Robert “Junior”; and brothers, John, Michael and Morris Mahunik. Survived by daughters, Saundra, married to Edward Metzler, Tigard, Ore.; and Lisa, married to Stephen Cozart, Columbus, Ohio; grandchildren, Benjamin Metzler, Kristin Schuler and Kacee and Kameron Cozart; and sister, Olga Stanchek, Poland, Ohio. Graduate of Chaney High School, Youngstown, Ohio. She was a former mail carrier and former teller at the former Cambria Savings, Somerset. Member of St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Somerset. Family will receive friends from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Deaner Funeral Home, Stoystown, where vigil for the deceased will be held at 1:45 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, Somerset, the Rev.
