JENNERSTOWN — YOMMER – Mary R. (Reich), 86, Jennerstown, formerly of the Meyersdale area, died Jan. 24, 2013, at Memorial Medical Center. Born May 6, 1926, in Summit Township, Somerset County, daughter of Mahlon and Lulu (Neimiller) Reich. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Alvin L., on May 17, 1977; sisters, Ruth Baker, Catherine Seigner, Josephine Smith and Geraldine Pagen; and brothers, Robert and Jack Reich. Survived by son, Martin A., married to Peggy Briskey, Jennerstown; sister, Helen Wills, Glen Rock, Pa.; and numerous nieces and nephews. A 1944 graduate of Meyersdale High School. Former owner and operator, along with her husband, of Cemetery Lettering Service, now operated by her son, Marty, and daughter-in-law, Peggy. Mary greatly enjoyed working in her yard, garden and flower beds. At Mary’s request, there will be no visitation or service. Burial will be held at a later date at Hay’s Church Cemetery, Brothersvalley Township, Somerset County. In lieu of flowers, memorials to Laurel Trinity Lutheran Church, P.O. Box 185, Jennerstown, Pa. 15547, or Somerset County Library, Somerset, Pa., 15501, would be appreciated. Arrangements by Hoffman Funeral Homes & Cremation Services.
