JOHNSTOWN — KMECAK – Eleanor G., 94, Johnstown, died Jan. 29, 2013, at the Lutheran Home of Johnstown. Born Oct. 29, 1918, in Johnstown, daughter of Nicholas and Anna (Gubic) Sutt. Preceded in death by parents; husband, John S. Kmecak Sr.; son, John S. Jr.; an infant grandchild; and brothers, George, Robert, Bernard, Richard, Ralph, Alfred and Charles. Survived by children, Rita, wife of Michael Henry, Hummelstown; and Joan, wife of Donald McCleary, Morgantown, W.Va.; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; brothers, Paul and Jim; and sister, Loretta Sefcik; also daughter-in-law, Dolores (Getzey) Kmecak. She was formerly employed as a nurse at Mercy Hospital. Member of Resurrection Parish, where funeral Mass will be held at noon Friday, Father Alan Thomas, officiating.
