RED LION, PA. — NEILSON – Bertha, 90, Red Lion, Pa., formerly of Northern Cambria, passed away Feb. 5, 2013, at York Hospital. Born April 15, 1922, in Barnesboro, daughter of Andy and Catherine (Mulato) Kosto. Preceded in death by parents; husband, James A. Neilson, who died June 30, 1995; son-in-law, Joseph Eshleman; sisters, Betty Gonsman, Catherine Sherry, Mary Kosto and Margaret Kosto; and brother, Andy Kosto. Survived by daughters, Mary C., wife of Mike Moran, La Vale, Md.; and Therese A., wife of Bradley Pheasant, Dallastown, Pa.; grandson, Ryan Smith; and great-grandson, Xzavier Smith. Bertha was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church, Dallastown, and former Christ The King Catholic Church, Northern Cambria. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Moriconi Funeral Home Inc., Northern Cambria. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at Prince of Peace Chapel, Northern Cambria. Interment, Holy Cross Cemetery.
