JOHNSTOWN — STRAYER – Dora J., 75, Johnstown, passed away Feb. 6, 2013, at her home. Born June 29, 1937, in Johnstown, daughter of Margaret (Gilmour) Lose. Preceded in death by mother and husband, Edwin C. Strayer. Survived by daughter, Lori, married to Steve Steiner, Johnstown; sister, Rilla, married to Allen Wright; grandchildren, Joshua Strayer, and wife, Amber; Tabitha Gallagher; Sherry Wimer; Timothy Gallagher; and Steven Gallagher; and several great-grandchildren. Member of Franklin Street United Methodist Church. She enjoyed going to Senior Life and was a former employee of Dura Dry Cleaners. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at John Henderson Co. Funeral Home, 215 Central Ave. Memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at Franklin Street United Methodist Church, Pastor Terry Knipple, officiating. The family suggests memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home at 215 Central Ave., Johnstown, Pa. 15902.
