JOHNSTOWN — FODOR – Mary Catherine (Illig), 91, Richland Township, went to be with the Lord Feb. 12, 2013, at Memorial Medical Center. Born May 21, 1921, in Ebensburg, daughter of Philip and Mary (Duman) Illig. Preceded in death by husband and love of her life, Andrew Fodor; beloved grandson, Gene Steven Frazier; and brothers and sisters, Ann, Evelyn, Charles, Francis, Hugh and Bernard. Loving mother of Audrey, wife of Louis Bafile, Windber; Joanne, wife of Gene Frazier, Johnstown; and David Fodor, married to the former Pamela Haddad, Windber. Loving grandmother of Louis A. Bafile, and wife, Cara; Jennifer, wife of Brian Golias; Jessica, wife of Jeremy Sandberg; Emily, wife of Jason Horner; Matthew Fodor; Gregory Frazier, and wife, Nikki; and Sarah Fodor. Loving great-grandmother of Emma, Lauren, Wes, Andrew, Hayden and Sidney, and baby boy Horner to be born in April. Sister of Margaret Carney, Seward; and John Illig, Pittsburgh. Our mother’s deep Catholic faith sustained her through the many struggles in her life. At Mary’s request, there will be no viewing or visitation, however, Mass intentions would be appreciated. Family and friends are invited to attend funeral Mass at 10 a.m. Friday at SS. Cyril & Methodius Catholic Church, Windber, where Mary was a member, the Rev. George M. Gulash.
