DUBOIS — MAYERS – James R., 57, DuBois, entered into God’s eternal care Sunday, Feb. 10, 2013, at Nelson’s Golden Year’s, DuBois. Born Dec. 25, 1955, in Johnstown, son of Helen (Zedlar) Mayers, DuBois and the late James E. Mayers. Mr. Mayers was a 1974 graduate of Westmont Hilltop near Johnstown. He was employed with DRMC in housekeeping and later with Shop N Save in DuBois. James volunteered for the Salvation Army, DuBois, and also as a fireman in both Johnstown and DuBois. He enjoyed bowling, music and was a fan of WWE wrestling. Surviving in addition to his mother are brothers and sisters, Mark F. Mayers, and wife, Rosemary, Beaverton, Ore.; Mike R. Mayers, and wife, Lisa, Clearfield, Pa.; Kim Ferraccio, and husband, Chester, Leechburg, Pa.; and Nikki Mayers, Cheswick, Pa.; also seven nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father. A celebration of a funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Friday, Feb. 15, at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 15 Robinson St., DuBois, Pa. 15801, the Rev. Father V. David Foradori, celebrant. Family will receive friends from 10 to 11 a.m. Friday at the church. Burial, St. Michael’s Cemetery.
