LAKE KIOWA, TEXAS — MOCK – Dale Sheldon, 72, Lake Kiowa, Texas, passed away Thursday, Nov. 15, 2012, in Denison, Texas. Born Jan. 11, 1940, in Johnstown, to Sheldon Earl and Barbara Francis Mock. Mr. Mock married the love of his life, Barbara Ann Adams, on May 12, 1962, in Harrisburg. He was very proud of his hometown, Johnstown. He was a 1959 graduate of Dale High School. Mr. Mock played and excelled at basketball and baseball while attending Albright College in Reading, Pa. Member of Alpha Pi Omega fraternity and graduated from Albright in 1962. Following school, Mr. Mock enjoyed a long career with U.S. Steel, having retiring after 38 years. Preceded in death by parents and granddaughter, Megan. Survivors include his wife, Barbara Mock, Lake Kiowa; son, Gregory Mock, Winter Park, Colo.; son, Brian Mock, and wife, Maria, Southlake; son, Brett Mock, and wife, Jennifer, Mebane, N.C.; son, Kerry Mock, and wife, Kristin, Cumming, Ga.; and grandchildren, Cameron, Rebecca, Trevor, Nathan, Peyton, Sarah, Ashlee, Anna Kate, Lilia and Jenna. Memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Geo. J. Carroll & Son Funeral Chapel, Gainesville, Texas, J. Ray Smith, officiating.
