NICKTOWN — PARRISH – Mary Louise, 86, Nicktown, passed away Nov. 21, 2012, at Meadowview Estates. Born Dec. 18, 1925, daughter of Isadore and Zita (Peters) Kline. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Donald J. Parrish, who died Feb. 16, 1999; brother, the Rev. Omer U. Kline, OSB; and infant brothers, Joseph and Omer Kline. Survived by children, Karen, wife of Rick Staruch, Northern Cambria; Raymond, husband of Caroline Yurky, Latrobe; Russell, husband of Debra Lipscomb, Clear Brook, Va.; Amy, wife of Scott Ishman, Carbondale, Ill.; and Marty, husband of Christine Weber, Carrolltown; grandchildren, Katie Valeria, Bryan and Kevin Staruch; Nathan Parrish; Zachary and Alison Ishman; and Vinnie and Jake Parrish; and great-grandchildren, Ben and Kara Valeria and Tyler Staruch. Also survived by sister, Hilda (Donald) Dumm, Ebensburg. Member of St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Nicktown, where she enjoyed being active in the church Altar & Rosary Society, making noodles for the church festival, cooking at the social hall for weddings, church events and NCCS bingo. Member of VFW Post 7503 ladies auxiliary. Mary Louise also enjoyed meeting people as an Avon representative. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Moriconi Funeral Home Inc., Northern Cambria. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Nicholas Catholic Church. Committal, St. Nicholas Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Windber Hospice or American Cancer Society.
