JOHNSTOWN — HUDAK – Thomas “Tom” J., 56, Patton, passed away Nov. 21, 2012, at ARHS-Altoona Hospital Campus. Born Dec. 29, 1955, in Spangler, son of Peter and Adelaide (Del Pierre) Hudak. Preceded in death by parents. Survived by brother, Chris Hudak, New Cumberland, Pa.; and sister, Elaine, married to Joseph Desalvo, DMD, Carrolltown. Tom was the tax collector for Patton Borough. Member of Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Patton; NRA; The Western Pennsylvania Caliber 30 League; Patton Sportsmen’s Association; and Reade Township Sportsmen’s Club. He loved his cats, Bubbles, Buddy, Honey and Luna, and also enjoyed playing the piano. Friends will be received from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 25, at Stevens Funeral Home Inc., 1004 N. Fifth Ave., Patton, Pa. 16668, where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Queen of Peace Catholic Church, Patton, by Benedictine Fathers. Committal, at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Patton. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the charity of the donors choice. (www.stevensfh.com)
