SOUTH FORK — WADSWORTH – Clyde R., 82, South Fork, died Nov. 30, 2012, at Memorial Medical Center. Born May 30, 1930, in South Fork, son of C. Herbert and Rose (Bortel) Wadsworth. Preceded in death by parents; sisters, Mahala May, Grace Bracken, Lois Frank and Betty Smith; and brothers, Herbert, Robert, William “Earl,” George and John “Dean”; also daughter-in-law, Barbara (Stiffler). Survived by loving wife of 56 years, Louise (Casti) Wadsworth, whom he married June 2, 1956; children, Mary Lou, wife of James Mandichak, Richland; Jeffrey, married to Leslie Slavecki, Harrisburg; Mark, married to Debbie Bowen, South Fork; Margaret, wife of Dr. Michael Stone, Broomfield, Colo.; and Michelle, wife of David Beaulieu, Waterford, Conn.; grandchildren, Dan and Bryan Pinkas; Alan (Sarah) and Michael Wadsworth; Erica and Andrew VanDyke; Ian, Olivia and Cecile Stone; Matthew Wadsworth; and Ryan and Haley Vitko; stepgrandchildren, Chad and Ian Mandichak; David, Jenny and Liz Beaulieu; Chad Grattan; and Tara and Josh Mihalko; sister, Lorraine Seyda, Ellicott City, Md.; brother, Ralph, married to Ellen Jane Phillips, Johnstown; and numerous nieces and nephews.  A 1948 graduate of South Fork High School. A U.S. Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War. Member of Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church and their choir. Member and past president of South Fork Borough Council from 1966 to 2006; mayor of South Fork Borough since 2007; lifetime member of South Fork Volunteer Fire Company; a 25-year member and past president of Cambria-Somerset Council of Government; founding member of Forest Hills Regional Sewer Authority; Forest Hills Regional Alliance; South Fork Cemetery Association Board member; Knights of Columbus Council 2275; and past member of South Fork Library Board of Directors. Retired from Bethlehem Steel Corp., Coke Plant, after 34 years of service, and worked for Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home Inc. for 54 years.  Clyde enjoyed sports and spending time with his family. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and loyal friend who will be sadly missed. Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m. Saturday and from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Charles O. Dimond Funeral Home Inc., South Fork, where vigil for the deceased will be held at 8 p.m. Sunday. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church, South Fork, by Father Robert P. Reese. Committal, South Fork Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations be made to South Fork Library or Most Holy Trinity Catholic Church building fund.
