SCLESKY – Corrine I., 89, Elmora, passed away Dec. 1, 2012, at Golden Living Center, Hastings. Born Feb. 19, 1923, in Patton, daughter of Alphonse and Mary M. (Wills) Chirdon. Preceded in death by parents; husband, Adam Sclesky, who died July 17, 2011; sons, Adam P. Sclesky Jr. and Joseph Sclesky; granddaughter, Debra Stasko; great-grandson, Timothy Paronish; brothers, Carl, Henry and John Chirdon; and sister, Gertrude Taylor. Survived by children, Dianna, wife of David Stasko, Hastings; Connie M., wife of Anthony Polisky, Elmora; Maryann Campbell, Patton; Donald E., married to former Dianne Blick, Carrolltown; and David J., married to former Betty Ann Wasilko, Northern Cambria; 16 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren. Sister of Rose Legros, Ohio; Dorothy Weymer, Patton; Margaret Kopera, Carrolltown; James Chirdon, Patton; and Alphonse “Abe” Chirdon, Arizona. Former member of Sacred Heart Church. Member of St. Benedict Catholic Church, Carrolltown, and VFW Ladies Auxiliary. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at Moriconi Funeral Home Inc., Northern Cambria. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Benedict Church, Father Jude Brady, OSB, celebrant. Interment, Sacred Heart Cemetery.
