BURNSIDE —
FIASCO– Anthony “Tony” Thomas, 47, Burnside, died Monday, Dec. 3, 2012, at his home. He was the son of Neale Robert Fiasco, Northern Cambria, and Charlotte G. (Walker) Fiasco, Burnside. He was born July 26, 1965, in Cleveland, Ohio. Tony was a graduate of Purchase Line High School and Triangle Tech’s two-year electrician degree program. He worked as a flagger for over 20 years, more recently with On Call Flagging and previously with B & K Flagging. Tony was a member of the Laborer’s Union Local 1058 and the Sons of the American Legion, Glen Campbell post. He loved buying, selling and fixing anything with wheels. In his spare time, he greatly enjoyed fishing and hunting. Tony was devoted to his mother’s care and always there for his family. In addition to being survived by his parents, he was the father of Ryan, and his girlfriend, Rachel Chura, Strongstown, and Jessica, and her boyfriend, Adam Bortz, Oklahoma; a very proud grandpa of Taylor, Danny and Isla; a brother to Teri Harkleroad, and husband, Andy, Cherry Tree; Mark Fiasco, St. Mary’s; and Marie Younkin, and husband, Dane, Cherry Tree; uncle of Bob Fiasco, Nichole (Ken) Feaster, Andrea Harkleroad, Marc Wilson; and Makenzie and Hannah Fiasco; and a great-uncle to Kara Feaster. Friends will be received from 1 to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 8, 2012, at Rairigh Funeral Home, Ltd., Hillsdale, where a 2 p.m. memorial service will be officiated by Pastor Laura McCombie. Interment will take place at Burnside Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please consider remembering Tony with a donation to the American Cancer Society.
