SALIX — PUGH (SCHREIBER) – Mrs. Betty Ann, 83, Salix, passed away Dec. 8, 2012, at Golden Living Nursing Care Center, Richland. Born Sept. 28, 1929, in Windber, daughter of Louis Sr. and Mary (Torok) Mihalko. Preceded in death by parents; first husband, Ray F. Schreiber; second husband, Meredith “Bud” Pugh; brother, Louis Mihalko Jr.; and sisters, Mary Rose and Irene Long. Survived by daughters, Bonnie L., wife of Larry Leipchak Sr., Windber, and Bettylou Kyler, Salix; grandchildren, Rayna Jones; Larry Leipchak Jr.; Robert Kyler, and wife, Ellen; and Ray Weyandt, and wife, Nichole; and sisters, Bertha Barefoot and Nancy Natta. Also numerous nieces, nephews and special companion, her dog, Baxter. Betty was formerly employed by Riverside Grocery Store. She enjoyed spending time with her family. Services will be private at the request of the family. Memorial contributions may be made to the Cambria County Humane Society in memory of Betty.
