LA PLATA, MD. — JAVINS – Barbara Ann, 72, LaPlata, Md., died Dec. 7, 2012. Born Feb. 14, 1940, in Colver, to the late Jacob and Annabel Kokel. Also predeceased by loving husband, Robert P. Javins; uncles, Vincent, Francis, Donald, Jack and James; and aunts, Georgean McAllister, Margie Simuro, Bernadine Russick and Jessie Ravens. Survived by son, Robert P. Javins Jr.; brother, V. Pat Kokel, and wife, Janet; sister, Kathryn Hughes and Naomi Gaboda; nieces, Chris Kokel and Tamy Kokel; and nephew, Pat Kokel Jr. Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 13, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, LaPlata, Md. Interment will be at a later date at Arlington National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to American Stroke Association, 4217 Park Place Court, Glenn Allen, Va. 23060-9979.
