COLVER — WALTIMIRE– Duane S. “Bud,” 85, Colver, died June 14, 2012, at home. Born June 7, 1927, in Colver, son of the late Steele and Mary (Holmes) Waltimire. Preceded in death by wife, Genevieve; brother, Lawrence; sister, Mary Scott; stepfather, Philip Bush; and son-in-law, Paul Campbell. Survived by children, Theresa Campbell; Mary Kay Venet; Daniel, and companion, Darla; and Virginia (David) Hostetter. Also survived by grandchild- ren, Paul, Duane, Anna, Daniel, Steele, William, Vickie, Alexandra, Samantha and Zayne; great-granddaughter, Presley; and his loving pet, “Cat.” Retired from Bethlehem Mines with 45 years of service. Devoted member of UMWA. Formerly employed with C&J Falchini, Ebensburg. Duane enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren. Friends will be received from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Ebensburg, where funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, Deacon Thomas Buige officiating. Entombment, Holy Name Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, donations in Duane’s memory may be made to UMWA Local 1368, 202 Upper Jackman Road, St. Benedict, Pa. 15773.
