GLEN ROCK — SAJKO – Eric S., 33, Glen Rock, formerly of Vinco, passed away Oct. 6, 2012, at home. Born June 19, 1979, in Johnstown. Preceded in death by paternal grandparents, John and Tressia Sajko; and maternal grandparents, Harvey and Clara Goughnour. Survived by parents, John and Linda Sajko; sister, Stacey Sharland; brother, John (Angela) Sajko; nieces, Ashleigh Sharland and Kali Sajko, goddaughter; nephew, John Sajko III; as well as numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. Social member of Glen Rock American Legion Post 403. Eric enjoyed music, playing pool and cooking, and loved taking care of his dog, Bruce. He will be sadly missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Nanty Glo, where funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, Pastor Beth Holz, officiating. Interment to follow at Benshoff Hill Cemetery. Memorial service also will be held at 2 p.m. Oct. 21 at Immanuel United Methodist Church, One New Street, Glen Rock, Pa. 17327.
