JOHNSTOWN — MANGUS – Ann M., 81, Westwood, died peacefully Oct. 12, 2012, at home surrounded by her family and went to be with her Savior to overlook her beloved gardens. Born Nov. 15, 1930, in Johnstown, to Helen (Gigliotti) and Joseph R. Scaletta. Preceded in death by parents and husband of 44 years, John “Pete” Mangus. Survived by children, Debra Kempf (Scott), Warrington, Pa.; Sharon Hoko (Jeff), East Berlin, Pa.; and John J. Mangus (Lindsey), Swansboro, N.C.; grandchildren, Ryan Hoko (serving in U.S. Navy), Megan Dean (Brandon), Melissa Hoffman (Ian), Gretchen Kempf and Colleen Kempf; and great-grandchildren, Isaac Dean, Caleb Hoffman and Willow Mae Dean. Also survived by brother, Samuel Scaletta (Clair); and sisters, Mary “Dolly” Slagle and Eva Gallucci (Edward), all of Johnstown. In keeping with Ann’s wishes, there will be no viewing or service.
