RICHLAND — MAHON – Betty Mae, 82, Golden Living Center, Richland, formerly of Colver and Portage, passed away Oct. 21, 2012, at the center. Born March 4, 1930, in Cambria Township, daughter of the late Henry and Amelia (Stiffler) Mahon. Last surviving member of her immediate family. She was preceded in death by brother, William George Mahon, and sister, Zelma Gay Strenko. Survived by numerous nieces and nephews and aunt, Martha Williams, Portage. Member of the Portage and Ebensburg Senior Citizens. Betty loved music. At the family’s request there will be no visitation or viewing. Funeral services at the convenience of the family. Interment, Powell Cemetery, Cambria Township. Arrangements by Askew-Houser Funeral Homes Inc., Ebensburg.
