KOREN – Michael J., 91, Clearfield, died Monday, Oct. 22, 2012. He was born April 6, 1921, in Osceola Mills, son of the late George and Veronica (Hollis) Koren. He is survived by three children, Susan Vigne, and husband, Michael, Johnstown; Dr. Larry Koren, and wife, Linda, Ginter; and Ronald J. Koren, and wife, Sandra, Treasure Lake; five grandchildren, Shawn, Ryan and Rachel Vigne and Madison and Zachary Koren; and one brother, Joseph Koren, Osceola Mills. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Helen R. (Russin) Koren on July 11, 2012. Mass of Christian Burial will be said at 10:30 a.m. Monday at St. Timothy Catholic Church, Curwensville. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Clearfield. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 p.m. Sunday and 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at Kevin A. Beardsley Funeral Home, Clearfield. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to St. Francis Educational Endowment Fund, 212 S. Front St., Clearfield.
