Born Aug. 15, 1941, in Johnstown, daughter of Dorothy (Richardson) Ashcom and husband, Frank, New Florence, and the late Morris Snyder. In addition to her mother, she is survived by children, Robert F. Gregory, and wife, Debbie, Somerset; Michael S. Gregory, Johnstown; Dorthea “DeeDee” McGowan, and husband, Brian, Somerset; and Paula “P.J.” Gregory, New Florence; grandchildren, Jacob Gregory, and wife, Krissa, Nevada; Katrina Gregory; and Mark, Luke and Julie McGowan, all of Somerset; great-granddaughter, Kaylee Gregory; former husbands, Edward W. Brown, Colorado and David W. Gregory, Boswell. In addition to her father, she is preceded in death by uncles, John and Stamford Richardson; infant uncle, Charles Richardson; and aunt, Martha Potts. Member of New Florence United Methodist Church and DUVCW. Worked in the housekeeping department at Antiochian Village. Graduate of Cambria-Rowe Business College. Friends received from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Kenneth A. Stuart Funeral Home, 139 Ligonier St., New Florence, where service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Pastor Sharon Hamley officiating.
