CRESSON — ECKENROD – Bernard F. Jr., 59, Cresson, formerly of Lilly, passed away March 18, 2013, at Conemaugh Health System. Born April 19, 1953, in Altoona, son of the late Bernard F. Sr. and Bondena (Krumenaker) Eckenrod. Preceded in death by brother, William. Survived by wife, Gloria J. (Leffler) Eckenrod, Cresson; son, Robert, and wife, Bridget Eckenrod; three grandchildren; brothers, Raymond, New Jersey; and Phillip, Williamsport; and sisters, Mary Moore, Altoona; and Teresa Chatham, Plymouth Meeting, Pa. Friends and relatives received from 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at Thomas F. Cloherty Funeral Home, Lilly, where funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, the Rev. Sally Houghton, officiating. Private committal. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the family to help pay funeral expenses.
